Motivational Needle Minders

These motivational needle minders are created by stamping a word into my clay and then cutting the shape. While they are leatherhard clay, I paint them with underglazes. Then they are fired in a bisque kiln at cone 04. Finally, they are painted with a clear glaze before being fired one more time at cone 6.

What is a needle minder?
A needle minder is a magnetic stitching accessory designed to help prevent your needle from getting lost when you need to take a short break from your stitching or as you are changing threads.


There are four different designs and they are sold separately.
Each needle minder measures 1 " wide x 1 3/8" long.
