These jewelry components are made of white stoneware and are all made by hand. They are a rich brown with bits of light green in the recessed areas. They have a very earthy feel.
They are sold individually and are $6.00 each.
Components measure 7/8" long by 1 1/4" wide.
These components were made by rolling out the clay and using a handmade stamp I made to press in the design in the clay. Then, I used a shaped cutter to cut the shape of the components. I carefully insert a high fire wire into the clay piece while the clay is still wet. The components are kept flat until they are bone dry. Then, they are bisque fired to cone 04. Finally, they are glazed and fired to cone 6.
