All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was hand built by rolling out a slab of clay, cutting the clay around a template, and then forming the piece with a small side that goes all the way around the shape. While it was leather hard, I used underglazes to paint the design. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied clear glaze before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! This makes a great little trinket dish!
Although this is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramics, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
