Bright Green Leaf Teabag Holder/Spoon Rest/ Trinket Dish #3
This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic leaf spoon rest or tea bag holder that can easily be used on a counter, on your dining table, or on a side table next to your favorite chair. Also suitable as a small trinket dish or a small catchall. This piece was molded by hand with a real leaf pressed into a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied 3-5 coats of glaze before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.
It makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself!
