Blue Ocean Ripples Glaze Cache Pot/Desk Caddy
This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic pot can be used on a counter, a table, or a desk as a cache pot for a live or artificial plant. You can use this as a great caddy for pens and this or that on your desk. If you need a container for your chopsticks or spoons, this is it! The deep blues and lighter blues create ripples of color around the pot for great movement and subtle color. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied 3-5 coats of glaze before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.
It makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself!

Although this is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramics, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
