These buttons are white stoneware and all made by hand. They are mostly brown, a few hints of blue here and there.
They are sold individually and are $3.50 each.
Buttons measure 3/4" wide by 1" long.
These buttons were made by rolling out the clay and using wooden roller with a carved design to press in the design in the clay. Then, I used a rectangle shaped cutter to cut the shape of the buttons. When the buttons are leather hard, I carefully mark where I want the holes. Then, I use a series of 4 different sizes of hand tools with a drill end to make the holes progressively larger as I go. The buttons are kept flat until they are bone dry. Then, they are bisque fired to cone 04. Finally, they are glazed and fired to cone 6.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
