This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic bowl is a decorative bowl that would be a great addition to any decor, whether you decide to use it for a small fruit bowl or as a nice serving dish on your dining room table. While full of details, it is still a durable stoneware bowl.

All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied a black wax drawing. After the bowl dried for 3-4 hours, I carefully added 3-5 coats of glaze in all of the details as well as 4 layers of glaze in all of the brown areas. Then, the bowl was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.

Although stoneware is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramic pieces such as this, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
