When they are bone dry, I fire them in a bisque fire at cone 04. Then I glaze them with a 2-3 layers of mid-range glaze and fire them again at cone 6. This process vitrifies the clay, which makes them strong, and makes the glaze colors vibrant and rich. These buttons are great for knitting, crocheting, or sewing.
