This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic bowl that can easily be used in the kitchen as a prep bowl, or on a counter or shelf to catch this and that. The warm, autumn colors make this little bowl a great neutral that can complement any decor. It makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself!

All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied a black wax drawing. After the bowl dried for 3-4 hours, I carefully added 3-5 coats of glaze in all of the details as well as 4 layers of glaze in all of the brown areas. Then, the bowl was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.

Although stoneware is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramic pieces such as this, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
