Dark Green and Blue Serving Bowl

This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic bowl can easily be used on the kitchen counter to hold fruit or veggies, or it can be used to serve on the dining table. The glaze is a combination of dark green and blue. There was mark making and carving on the outside with black underglaze in the recessed areas. A very unique piece that makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself!

The bowl has a 2 7/8" base, stands 3 1/4" tall, and opens to a 6" rim.

All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied 3-5 coats of glaze before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.

Although this is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramics, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
