All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied 3-5 coats of glaze before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece. This specific glaze combination is a white celadon layered on top of a very pale yellow. The result is a beautiful, subtle finish that will complement any decor.
This is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic piece that is sure to become a favorite. It makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself! A great little spoon rest next to your Keurig or where you make your tea, or use it to hold spices during food prep.
