All of my handmade items are unique, no two are exactly the same. This piece was thrown on a wheel using a white stoneware clay. It was carefully carved and shaped while leather hard. Once it was bone dry, it was then fired in a bisque fire to cone 04. Next, I applied 3-5 coats of celadon glaze to create the colors of a flower on the inside and I layered two green glazes on the outside before it was fired in a cone 6 glaze fire. I love how no two pieces are exactly the same! During the glaze fire, the layered glazes flow and mix to create a unique surface design on every piece.
This is really is a one-of-a kind handmade ceramic piece that is sure to become a favorite. It is such a special bowl whether it is just sitting empty on a table or shelf, or if it's holding a few special treats for your guests. It makes a great gift for any occasion, or as a treat for yourself!
Although this is dishwasher safe, to protect handmade ceramics, it is recommended to handwash to prevent accidental breakage in the dishwasher.
